How the Score Is Calculated

Your total score is a weighted combination of three inputs: SAT 1 (400-1600), SAT 2 (0-1600, optional), and GPA (20-40 scale). The formula depends on which university type you select.

Step 1: Choose a Method

Method 1
Government Universities
Min SAT 1 required: 1050
SAT 2 counts if ≥ 1100
Method 2
Private Universities
No SAT 1 minimum
Higher SAT 1 weight
SAT 2 counts if ≥ 900
Method 3
Institutes
Min SAT 1 required: 890
SAT 2 counts if ≥ 900

Step 2: SAT 1 Contribution

Two tiers apply. If SAT 1 ≥ 1090, the higher multiplier is used:

Method 1 and 3: (SAT1 x 69) / 1600 [if SAT1 ≥ 1090] (SAT1 x 60) / 1600 [if SAT1 < 1090] Method 2: (SAT1 x 75) / 1600 [if SAT1 ≥ 1090] (SAT1 x 60) / 1600 [if SAT1 < 1090]

Step 3: SAT 2 Contribution (Optional)

Only added when SAT 2 meets the threshold for the selected method:

SAT2 contribution = (SAT2 x 15) / 1600

Step 4: GPA Contribution

GPA is added directly (no scaling)

Final Formula

Total = SAT1 part + SAT2 part (if valid) + GPA Result is rounded to 2 decimal places

University Matching

After calculating, your score is compared with cutoff values for each faculty. Universities where your score ≥ cutoff are shown as eligible.

Note: These calculations are based on the official formula provided by the Egyptian Education Ministry.
